Water Project
Making clean water easily accessible
Clean water for students and their families
Clean water is not easily accessible in Ghana.
As a result, 4 in 5 people in Ghana may be drinking contaminated water from ponds and streams, leaving them exposed to waterborne diseases, including cholera, typhoid, and dysentery.
A clean water station where children and families can access water for drinking and domestic purposes helps our students to be less vulnerable to diseases and keeps them well hydrated at both school and at home, as well as better rested and more attentive in school.
